This year, the process to fill AIIMS application form 2019 has been changed as the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) facility has been introduced. AIIMS MBBS application form process 2019 is divided into two steps – Basic Registration and Final Registration. During the basic registration process of AIIMS application form, aspirants need to fill their personal details, contact details and upload the scanned images of passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression. While, in the final registration, the remaining details such as qualification details, payment, city choice and printout of the registration form is done. Re-opening of exam city choice in final registration of AIIMS MBBS application form 2019
AIIMS, New Delhi released a notification on April 5, announcing the re-opening of examination city choice in the final registration of AIIMS MBBS 2019 application form. The candidates who have completed the entire procedure of AIIMS MBBS application form but were not able to fill the choice of exam city for some reason can now do so from April 5, 2019, to April 9, 2019, up to 5:00 PM. The basic registration process started on November 30 while the final registration started on February 21, 2019. AIIMS 2019 application form can be filled only through PAAR facility, newly introduced by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS Application Form 2019 - Basic Registration
As suggested earlier by the conducting body, the Basic Registration part of the AIIMS application form is non-year exam specific i.e. the details submitted by the candidates can be utilised in the next academic year. How to register for AIIMS MBBS 2019 Application Form?
Below is the elaborated registration procedure of AIIMS MBBS 2019 including video representation. Firstly, candidates have to complete basic registration process under PAAR facility to fill the AIIMS application form.
Basic Registration
Step 1: AIIMS MBBS Registration 2019
For new registration, candidates need to click on the link which will be provided on this page. By clicking on the link, aspirants will be redirected to the instruction page of application form. It is advised to read all the information carefully before start filling the application form.
In the next stage, the AIIMS registration form is displayed on the screen, in which the following details must be filled:

Issuance of Registration ID and Password
After registering with the correct details, a message will appear on the screen displaying the ‘Registration ID’. An email and SMS will also be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number containing ‘Registration ID and Password’. Applicants are advised to note down the credentials for future references, as it will be used for logging in to fill AIIMS MBBS application form and downloading AIIMS MBBS admit card 2019.

As soon as aspirants will receive the candidate ID and password, they will be directed to the login page. Candidates will be asked to enter their registration ID, password and copy the captcha code. The details filled by students will be displayed on the screen with the remaining steps. Step 2: Uploading of scanned images in AIIMS MBBS application form 2019
In step 2, aspirants need to upload their scanned copy of passport size photograph, signature and left-hand thumb impression. All the images must be scanned properly as per the specifications mentioned above on this page. If the images will not be uploaded, candidates will not be allowed to move further with the application process.

How to fill AIIMS MBBS Application Form 2019?
In the next step of final registration, candidates will be required to enter their qualification and address details, payment of application fee, choose exam city and take a printout of application fee.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Final Registration
In order to begin with the final registration process, the eligible aspirants need to login using their registration ID, unique code, password and displayed captcha code, as shown in the image below.
Step 3: Filling Qualification in AIIMS MBBS application form
In this step, the medical aspirants are required to enter the following qualification details:
Once the mentioned details are filled, the other qualification details such as board name, state where they belong to, Class 12 roll number, marking scheme (percentage/CGPA), total marks and scores obtained, will be displayed automatically on the screen. After filling the details, verify it and click on 'Proceed to step 5' button.
Step 4: Payment of AIIMS MBBS Application Fee 2019
After completing the registration process, candidates will be redirected to a new window to pay the application fee. The amount of application fee can be paid in online mode through credit/debit cards or net banking.
During the facility of code generation, the authority has also declared the AIIMS 2019 application form fees to be submitted by aspirants. Likewise last year, the registration fees for General/OBC category aspirants is Rs. 1500, while for SC/ST candidates, it is Rs. 1200. Note: Before the payment of application fee, applicants can check the availability of exam city by clicking on ‘Check City Choice’ option. Here, they can check the real-time availability of seats in the selected state. However, the city can be selected after the successful payment only.
Candidates must remember to take the printout of payment receipt as a proof of successful payment of AIIMS MBBS 2019 application form fee by clicking on ‘Print’ button.
Step 5: Choosing an exam city in AIIMS application form 2019
Once the payment of application form, aspirants will be re-directed to city choice page by clicking on ‘Proceed’ button. The city availability list shows the real-time seats available at that particular time in a city. It is advised to choose the city with utmost care, as once the city is chosen it cannot be changed. AIIMS MBBS will be held in 151 exam cities of India. From the list of these cities, aspirants have to choose one preference of city in which they want to take the exam. The allotment of AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam centres will be on the basis of first-come-first-served. The name and address of exam centre will be mentioned in the admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2019.
Step 6: Printout of registration and confirmation page
Once all the steps will be completed, aspirants will be required to click on ‘Final Submit’ option. On the registered mobile number and email ID, aspirants will receive an email and SMS containing the status of the application form. It is advised to take a printout of the filled and submitted registration form and confirmation page and preserve it for future references.
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Application Form - Correction Window
AIIMS, New Delhi had opened the facility to modify the incorrect details filled by aspirants in the Basic Registration process of AIIMS MBBS 2019 application form on January 18. How to edit details in AIIMS Application Form Correction Window 2019?
The aspirants who have completed their AIIMS basic registration process will receive a mail from PAAR authority mentioning to re-upload the incorrect image. Also the procedure to re-upload the particular image will be mentioned, which is provided below.
Note: The image re-uploaded in the AIIMS MBBS application form 2019 must be as per the specifications and candidates must also rectify the issue mentioned by the authority in the mail.
AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2019 – The medical aspirants who will appear for UG entrance exam must check AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam pattern. AIIMS, New Delhi, sets the exam pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2019. AIIMS MBBS Exam Pattern 2019 – Marking Scheme
As per the paper pattern of AIIMS MBBS 2019, every question will be asked with four options, of which only one will be the correct answer. For each correct and incorrect answer, the following marking scheme will be implemented:
Language of question paper: The language of the question paper will be English or Hindi. Applicants applying for the test will be required to choose the medium of online exam as per their preference. The choice given by the candidates while filling AIIMS MBBS application form 2019 cannot be changed at any stage.

The result of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be released online on June 12, in the form of merit list. The roll number-wise and rank-wise merit list will be published by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2019 will begin from the first week of July by AIIMS, New Delhi. AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling is expected to be held in online mode only. The counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be conducted in four rounds including an open round. The regulatory body will conduct as additional spot round subject to the vacancy of seats. Procedure of AIIMS MBBS Counselling 2019
As mentioned earlier, there will be three rounds of counselling i.e. first, second and third. Along with that, an open round and spot counselling will also be held by the authority in case of any vacant seats. Candidates included in the merit list and securing minimum cut off percentage and percentile will be eligible to participate for counselling procedure. Step 1 - Counselling Registration
The first-time users who are eligible to appear for counselling will be required to register for counselling using the link provided below. To begin with the registration, students are required to enter their Candidate ID and password to get redirected to the Mypage. On this page, the counselling tab will be opened for the aspirants who will be eligible for the counselling process.
The eligible aspirants need to register themselves for the counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2019 and create a new password. The password to be created to exercise the preferences should be different from the one used for logging in.
Note: It is advised to retain the password created for filling of preferences.
Step 2 - Filling and locking of choices (selection of AIIMS institutes)
In this step, aspirants need to click on ‘Make Choice’ button, in order to submit the preferences. To add the choice, click on the drop-down and select the AIIMS institute and click on ‘add-choice’. And to remove the choices filled, click on the delete button against the AIIMS institute chosen. Candidates must not forget to save the preferences after making changes. To reorder the choices, use the up and down arrows or drag and drop the choice of AIIMS institute to the particular position in the list.
Once the options are submitted, aspirants will be required to click on the submit and lock choices tab and accept the declaration form. Aspirants will be asked twice to lock the preferences, as once locked and submitted, no modifications and changes can be done.
Step 3 - Mock allotment result
After filling of choices for mock counselling, the result will be announced in the second week of July 2019. The mock allotment will be conducted to provide an idea to candidates regarding the counselling procedure and how the seat will be allotted to them on the basis of their choices.
Step 4 - Editing and final submission of choices
In this step, aspirants will be given an opportunity to edit and delete the choices submitted before, if preferred. It must be noted that the choices cannot be edited after final submission. To submit the new choices, click on the option ‘submit and lock choices’ tab. The declaration page will be displayed and candidates need to accept it. In the next step, click on ‘submit and lock choices’ button for final submission.
Note: If any student fails to submit the preferences for round one, then the choices filled for mock round will be considered final for the first round.
Step 5 - Seat allotment result
The result of AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019 round one will be announced in the first week of July. The PDF file to check the seat allotment result will be available on this page, once released. The seat allotment of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be done on the basis of preferences filled, rank secured in AIIMS MBBS and seats available.
Step 6 - Accept or refusal of allotted seats
After the candidates are allotted seats during process of seat allotment, they need to decide whether to accept the allotted seat or refuse it. Aspirants who will be allotted seat can choose the following actions within the stipulated date and time.
Option 1: Refuse the seat - Candidates who does not want to take admission in AIIMS institute can refuse it by logging in through their Candidate ID and password. As per the rules of AIIMS MBBS 2019 counselling, if an aspirant will not refuse the allotted seat, it will be assumed that he/she has accepted the seat.
Option 2: Accept the seat - In case, aspirants wish to take the admission to the allotted AIIMS institute, they must accept the seat by logging in. After that, they need to report at the allotted institute with the list of relevant documents for verification and completion of admission process.
Option3: Accept the seat and wish to participate for subsequent rounds - If in case, students being on the safer site, wants to accept the seat allotted and also wish to participate for the other rounds of AIIMS MBBS counselling 2019, they need to select option.
Option4: Refuse the seat and wish to appear for other rounds - There might be chances that aspirants will not be interested in the seat or institute allotted to them and wish to get other AIIMS institute, they can decline the seat and wish to appear for subsequent rounds of counselling for better allotment of seat.
Failure to select any option: If any candidate fails to login or select any option within the particular date and time, then he/she will lose the allotted seats and will be considered ineligible to appear for second and third round of counselling.
Step 7 - Reporting to the allotted institute
Once the seat is accepted, candidates need to appear at the allotted AIIMS institute with the relevant documents for verification and completion of admission process. Candidates are advised to take the set of photocopies and original ones along with the Demand Draft. The list of documents to be furnished at the time of counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2019 are mentioned below.

OBC certificate issued by the authority for Central Government jobs/for admission in Central Government College/Institute
Disability certificate issued from the duly constituted and authorized medical board as mentioned in the prospectus
Note:
OBC aspirants should not belong to creamy layer. The certificate must be in the central government format as mentioned in the prospectus.
It must also be noted that the certificate from any other authority or board will not be accepted and no further correspondence will be entertained.
The name, designation and the seal of the officer should be legible in the certificate.
Second round of AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counselling
After the completion of admission for round one, the second round of counselling of AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be conducted. Only candidates who will have registered for the mock counselling can appear for second round.
Who are eligible for second round of AIIMS MBBS counselling?
Candidates who have been allotted seat in round one, but have selected either option 3 or 4 can participate for second round.
Aspirants who participate in the first round, but was not allotted any seat will automatically be eligible for second round.
Students securing 50 percentage marks in AIIMS MBBS but were not called for first round of counselling will not be allowed to appear for subsequent rounds, but are eligible for open round or spot counselling.
All aspirants who registered for mock round/first round but did not register or fill the choices will not be eligible for other rounds of seat allotment.

The AIIMS MBBS 2016 counselling will be conducted in offline mode which means candidates have to attend the counselling in person as per the schedule allotted to their rank. In each category i.e. UR, OBC, SC & ST, the total no. of candidate to be called for counselling will be 4 times the number of seats available in each category. All reserved category candidates who qualify in the open (general) merit list (4 times of the open category seats i.e. up to rank number 1348) will necessarily have to attend the counselling for open category seats.
Seats and Reservation: The exam will be conducted for a total of 672 MBBS seats in 7 AIIMS. Among the total seats 337 are for general and 181 are for OBC category candidates. The table given below shows the AIIMS MBBS 2016 seats & reservation criteria.

AIIMS MBBS 2016 Admit Card: Examination authority had released the admit card of AIIMS MBBS 2016 on May 6. The admit card was available for only those candidates whose application form has been accepted. Admit card was allowed to be downloaded from the official website by entering application number and password. Candidates were advised to verify all the entries in the admit card such as name and address, exam roll number, photograph, signature, allotted exam canter, slot, etc. Without the admit card candidates were not allowed to take test. Candidates were advised to preserve the AIIMS MBBS 2016 admit card till the completion of admission process as it is required at the time of counselling and admission process for identity verification.
